①Government planning: relevant agreements should be obtained for site selection, such as whether it meets the requirements of the planning department, land and resources department, forestry department, cultural relics department, environmental protection department, water conservancy department and other relevant departments. 


The planning department needs to determine whether the site complies with the urban plan and whether it conflicts with other plans in the area; the land department needs to determine whether the land nature of the site meets the requirements of the land department and related policies; 


the forestry department needs to determine whether the site is located in a national nature reserve District; the cultural relics department needs to determine whether the underground or underwater area involved in the site involves cultural relic protection; 


the environmental protection department needs to confirm whether the construction of the power station of float photovoltaic panels at the site meets the environmental impact assessment requirements; the water conservancy department needs to confirm that the site meets its water intake and drainage requirements.


②Light resource conditions: Water photovoltaic projects are required to be selected in inner lakes or reservoirs with abundant solar energy resources and a wide area. If the site to be selected is in the southern part of my country, the total annual total solar radiation is generally required to be greater than 1300kwh/(m2.a). 

In the northern area, the total annual total solar radiation is generally required to be greater than 1400kwh/(m2.a). Conditions such as electricity prices and construction costs in different regions shall be comprehensively analyzed and determined.


③Ambient environment: There should be no shadows from mountains, trees, buildings, etc. around the proposed site to avoid affecting power generation; stable runoff is required to prevent excessive water flow from causing photovoltaic floating bodies to collide under the impact of water flow; wind speed is not high to prevent Photovoltaic modules move under the action of wind load, reducing the force of the floating body tie rods and fixed ropes; 


the water level changes little, preventing the floating body from tilting due to changes in the water level; there is no severe weather such as typhoon rain, preventing the floating body and components from damage; winter No icing, to prevent icing from damaging the structure of the floating body.


④ Ecological environment: The proposed site must be located in a non-ecologically sensitive area, and must not adversely affect fish and plants in the water; it must not be a drinking water area to prevent water pollution and affect the surrounding residents and animals' water conditions; it must not affect production and It should not affect downstream water use, irrigation of surrounding crops and factory production water.


⑤Access and consumption conditions: Collect relevant information on the access conditions and consumption capacity of nearby power grids. Floating water photovoltaic projects are generally located in inner lakes and reservoirs, close to residential areas. The plant is consumed nearby to reduce power transmission loss.


⑥ Navigation requirements: Check whether there is a ship dock nearby, whether the lake has related navigation requirements, and find out the depth, width, turning radius, allowable flow rate, and prescribed water corridors of the channel.


⑦Construction conditions: nearby traffic conditions, mainly considering the transportation conditions such as components, box transformers, cables and building materials, and whether it is convenient for the entry conditions of the water construction equipment in the later stage, and the balance and safety of the ship operations should be considered, and the pool, dam, etc. should not be damaged. facility.
