(Yijiang company) has obtained the development rights of five 170000 kW photovoltaic projects in Myanmar. These projects are respectively located in Naypyidaw and Yangon, Myanmar. At present, the company has initially signed a power purchase agreement with Myanmar state power generation company. At present, the total installed power capacity of Myanmar is less than 6 million kilowatts, and only 55% of the households in Myanmar are electrified. The load centers such as Yangon and Mandalay are seriously short of electricity in dry season. In order to solve the problem of power shortage, the Myanmar government has formulated the goal of "lighting up Myanmar in 2030". The photovoltaic project is a major measure to achieve this goal.
