Deqing, Zhejiang: Solar "Golden Roof" Helps Rural Revitalization
On June 1, in Shexi Village, Xin'an Town, Deqing County, staff inspected the grid-connected power generation of solar photovoltaic panels on the roofs of villagers.
In recent years, Xin'an Town, Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, has rented rooftops to install photovoltaic panels and connected to the grid to generate electricity. At present, 689 villagers have joined the project. The annual power generation capacity is nearly 6 million kilowatt hours, and the average annual income of the villagers has increased by more than 1,000 yuan.
As of the end of 2020, Deqing County, Zhejiang Province has connected 13 large-scale enterprise rooftop photovoltaic power stations and 5805 distributed small and micro photovoltaics, injecting green momentum into rural revitalization. Deqing County has also launched a county-level clean energy consumption control platform to realize the intelligent application of new energy data such as new energy power generation forecasting and planning, grid-connected operation suggestions, and regional carbon emission analysis.
