The owner of household photovoltaic power station can cut off the home grid connection switch in time before the water level rises, so as to ensure the safety of equipment to the greatest extent. If the inverter has a DC switch, the switch shall also be disconnected. However, it is required to wear rubber gloves and rubber boots, and avoid contacting the connecting parts of thick cables to reduce the risk of electric shock.
The PV inverter and combiner box after wading may have circuit short circuit, so the professional sales and construction operator should be contacted as soon as possible for inspection and treatment. At the same time, the loss can be recovered as much as possible through insurance claims.
Do not attempt to turn on the system after a storm or flood. Take care with solar equipment or structures which may have fire damage. Stay away from the solar panels and wiring until assessed as safe to approach.
Even if the network supply is turned off, solar systems and associated wiring may still be live; systems will continue to produce voltage during the day.
Ensure that any repairs to the system are electrically safe before it is recommissioned. This check needs to be done before other clean-up work starts around the modules and associated electrical wiring.
